Manage Order


The Manage Order menu allows users to efficiently place and review food orders. This menu is designed to streamline the ordering process, ensure accuracy, and maintain order records. Orders help users ensure timely meal requests and proper tracking of food distribution.

Orders are displayed with the following details:

  • Order Date: The date the order was placed.
  • User Name: The name of the person placing the order.
  • Item Name: The food item ordered.
  • Quantity: The number of units ordered.
  • Price: The total cost of the ordered items.

Add Order

Clicking Add Order opens a form to place a new order.

  1. Select Order Type: Choose the type of order (e.g., Lunch, Breakfast).

  2. Item Selection: Based on the selected type, a dropdown displays relevant items.

  3. Auto-fill: Selecting an item will automatically populate the Quantity and Price fields.

  4. Add More Items:

    • To order multiple items, click the Add button below the table.
    • Repeat the above steps for each additional item.

  5. Complete Order: Once all items are added, click Update to finalize the order.

Notes:

  • Orders cannot be deleted or updated once placed.
  • Food orders must be submitted before the allocated time. Failure to place the order on time will result in the inability to receive the requested meal.
